Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement. He created hundreds of great works dedicated to pop art. Most of his works where an experiment with celebrities, expression, and the 1960's advertisement at the time.He explored a wide range of media, from normal drawing, to computer generated artwork. He had the amazing ability to bring together a wide range of people, from the upper crust wealthy, to drag queens.
Also, the Andy Warhol Museum, locate in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the largest museum in the United States dedicated to a single artist.
I created a post about Andy, well technically to get my second post for the week done. But also because he is inspiring. He went from doing an ordinary advertisement job, to being a world renown artists.
Gun 1981, one of Andy Warhol's pieces, found at the Andy Warhol Museum.

Landscape
So, our project for school, (technically due last week), was to draw an Architectural Landscape that we enjoy. I choose to draw this landscape, because it reminds me of this place by my house that i really enjoy. I enjoy this area because its so peaceful and quite, and its a nice place just to sit and think. The first thing I did was draw it out, and then I scanned it into the computer.
I Opened up the image in Photoshop and began to paint it in. It took a really long time....
It may not look like much but it took forever, and ever..
Until i finally finished! Yay, and here is my finished landscape. I had to get rid of the bench that I had put in because it couldn't color it right...STUPID BENCH! But anyway i added as much detail as I could like the clouds are a lighter blue, and I smudge then in and moved them around to make them look a little realistic. For the stone path I added a lot of little dots to represent gravel around and to hopefully make it look a little better. I added yellow and white to all of the pink flowers to help them stand out. And this is the ending, now all I have to do is add a building to it in the next post. I hope this is enough detail.... maybe I should ad a story about my life... probably not.

My surrealism project. It is a plant with arms and legs that creates cities and civilizations on asteroids. It was supposed to resemble a kind of video game background. Which I guess it does.
So to achieve this image I drew the back ground in photo shop, and used the Blend tool, and Smudging tool to sort of fade and create the feeling with the stars and other space anomalies. Then I drew both the asteroid city, and plant of appendages and scanned them into the computer.
For me it was very difficult to size the scanned images to where they fit the way I wanted them to into the background. It was also difficult to blend the scanned images into to make them appear as if they belonged in this landscape.

This is my Day of the Dead Project. I painted a generic Grim Reaper, onto a dark blue background. I painted my twist, or view of how the opening to the underworld may look like. Then I created the sign in the back, and used the Text tool to do the writing. I used the Smudge tool throughout, to create this.
